    Mrs. Ida Doan, age 78, the widow of Amos W. Doan, died Sunday evening at the family home of West Cherry Street. She had been in ill health for some time.

    Mrs. Doan is survived by three sons. Raymond Doan and Roy Doan both of Olney, and Rev. Maywood Doan of Chicago, and one daughter Miss Leona Doan, at home. Also surviving are 16 grandchildren and nine great-grandchildren. Her husband died last February.

    Funeral services were held Tuesday afternoon at the Olney Funeral Home with Rev. Earl Zetache in charge and burial was in Haven Hill cemetery.

    Ida Edith Hostettler was born September 3, 1867 in Claremont township. She was the thirteenth child of Christian and Elizabeth Blazier Hostettler. All sisters and brothers have preceded her in death.

    She married Amos W. Doan February 6, 1887. Three boys and a girl were born, and all survive. They are Roy and Raymond of Claremont township, Maywood of Chicago, and Leona at home. There are 16 grandchildren and 9 great-grandchildren; several neices and nephews.

    Mrs. Doan was a member of the Church of the New Jerusalem. Services were held at the Olney Funeral Home January 1, 1946 with Rev. Earl C. Zetsche, in charge. Interment was in Haven Hill Cemetery
