Facts and Events
Ida was born in 1875, one of the younger children in a large family of Danish immigrants. The town of Henry is her known and documented POB but often mis-attributed to be in Caribou County. Caribou County was created out of Bannock County in 1919 which was created in 1893 from Oneida County ... 45 yrs following her birth. Oneida County is the legal location of her POB back in 1875. After divorcing Wm Frederick HARRIS while residing at Salmon Arm, BC, Canada she married a good man named John Brown. They had 2 children together. Their youngest and only son Eddy died in a tragic accident at the site of the Grand Coulee Dam in his early 20's. She is buried besides her 2nd husband John Edward BROWN in Ephrata, Grant County, Washington sharing the same headstone and adjacent to her son Eddy .... his full name was John Edward Brown.
