Obituary

LAUG - Hy Laug, aged 82, of Sarasota, Fla., formerly of Coopersville, passed away very unexpectedly Thursday morning. Mr. Laug will arrive at the Throop Funeral Home, Coopersville, Saturday afternoon. Funeral services will be held Monday afternoon at 2 o'clock at the funeral home. Interment in the Coopersville Cemetery. Friends may meet the family Saturday 7 to 9 and Sunday 2 to 4 and 7 to 9.

RITES MONDAY FOR LONGTIME GROCER

Services were held at the Throop Funeral Home in Coopersville Monday for former local resident Hy Laug, who died of a heart attack Thursday at his home in Sarasota, Florida.
Mr. Laug was a grocery merchant locally for 27 years before settling permanently in Florida 10 years ago.
Surviving are his wife, Nellie;  five sons, Earl and Lester of Florida, Ernest, Glenn and Roger of Coopersville; one brother Herb of Coopersville; one sister, Mrs. Gordon (Anna) Fynewever of Coopersville and 10 grandchildren.
Burial was in the Coopersville Cemetery.
