Living in Alberta, age 36, he was working as a Carpenter. Born in Mara (Uptergrove) 17 March, 1879, a son of Peter McGovern & Rosanna Corrigan. He was single and lists the next-of-kin, his father, who was living in Waldeck , Saskatchewan. His brother Phillip also served in the CEF.
