NOTE: Hugh Andrew's estate was processed through the Greene County courts (see Will Book C & D, pgs. 77, 102), although the dates of the probate records are in May and September, 1814 and whgich indicate that the administrators were George Newcomb and Elizabeth Andrews. Yet according to the marrage records of Greene County, Ohio, Elizabeth Andrews married James Guthrie on 20 Apr 1813.

There are several items which need further research: Hugh died in 1811, yet his estate wasn't fully processed until 1814; that, in combination with the name of his second wife during those proceedings, means either the probate record dates are wrong, the marriage record is wrong, OR there were two Hugh Andrews in the area.

Hugh Andrews bought land in Greene County from Jacob White of Cincinnati, but he apparently died before the deed could be transferred; the land is sold to Hugh's heirs, dated 28 Sept 1811 (in Sec. 8, Town 2, Range 8), M.R.S. or Miami Rivers Survey (vol. 3, p. 444)
