Daily Times-News, The Thursday, July 14, 1966 MEBANE Hubert Alexander FRESHWATER, 60, of Rt 2, Mebane, died in a Burlington hospital last night at o'clock following a critical ill- ness of two days. He was a native of Alamance County, son of the late James A. FRESHWATER and Mrs.. Lena Lloyd FRESHWATER of Rt. 2, Mebane, who survives. Mr. Fresh- water was a veteran of World War II, having served in the Army Transport Service in the South Pacific. Survivors in addition to his mother include his wife, Mrs.. Flora Ann McDaniel Freshwater of the home; two daughters, Mrs.. Marvin Thomas of Rt. 1, Graham and Miss Cheryl Fresh- water of Rt. 2, Mebane; two sons, Mr. James W. Freshwater and David A. FRESHWATER, both of Rt. 2, Mebane; one stepdaughter, Mrs.. Darrell Dawson of Rt. 1, Chapel Hill; one stepson, Henry Steve Stanley, stationed with the U S Army at Camp Gordon, Ga and six grandchildren. Final rites will be held to- morrow afternoon at 2 o'clock at Rich and Thompson Mortuary in Graham Burial will be in Haw fields Presbyterian church cemetery. The Rev. Paul Walters, pastor of Orange Chapel Methodist Church, will conduct the service. The body will remain at Rich and Thompson Mortuary
