Hubert was brought to the Huon Valley by his parents (William) when he was 3 years old in 1896.
Was a motor mechanic.
Worked as chauffeur and aid to a State Governor of Tasmania. In CMF until 50s.
Then worked for Robert Nettlefolds who were agents for general Motors cars, then imported American Chevrolets etc.
Later became radio operator for Yellow Cabs when radio control was introduced.
Hobby was buying and renovating houses.
