A biography of Howard Eves Seaver was published in the book "Genealogical and Memorial History of the State of New Jersey," published by Lewis Historical Publishing Co., New York, 1910. The article covered the entire Seaver ancestry of Howard Eves Seaver. His portion reads: "(IX) Howard Eves [Seaver], youngest son and child of Joseph H. and Mary (Gillespie) Seaver, was born in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania, May 31, 1878, graduated from Princeton College in 1898, and during the following year engaged in corundum mining in North Carolina. His subsequent business career may be mentioned as follows: Employee in the office of Strong, Sturgis & Company, brokers, of New York City, one year; associated in business with his father in Philadelphia, two years; went west as traffic manager for Bell Telephone Company and remained there about four years; with Sloane Howe Company, Philadelphia, iron and steel commission house; and in 1908 purchased a farm of fifty acres at Brown's Mills, New Jersey; and has recently established what is known as the Pine Park Poultry Farm, making ample preparations for carrying on an extensive business in raising poultry and poultry products for the market." Howard Eves Seaver registered for the World War II draft in 1942. He resided at Mayfair House at Lincoln Drive and Johnson Street in Philadelphia, Philadelphia County, Pennsylvania.
