    Howard A Johnson 64 of 118 Montague City Rd long a resident here died Tuesday in Windsor Locks Conn. He was stricken while at work at Hamilton Standard Division of United Aircraft. Born Oct. 8 1905 in Rumney N.H. he was the son of Augusta and Alice (Connette) Johnson He was educated in New Hampshire schools and had lived ln Greenfield 35 years. He was a machine operator at Hamilton Standard. His wife the former Elsie Mae Smith died Aug 18 1965. He leaves a daughter, Mrs. Patricia Parmalle of Middletown, Conn.; two sons Richard D. and Stephen A. Johnson both at home; a stepson Ronald Picknall of Turners Falls and seven grandchildren. The funeral was today at 2 p.m. at the McCarthy Funeral Home, Rev Norman R. Farnum Jr. of Second Congregational Church officiated. Burial will be in Green River Cemetery in the spring.
