Howard L. Crumrine, 97, of Wadsworth died Wednesday, October 18, 2006. Born December 22, 1908, in Randolph to the late Leon and Blanche Crumrine.
He was a member of Trinity United Church of Christ and was retired from the Seiberling Tire & Rubber Co. with 44 years of service. During the war, while employed at Seiberling Tire & Rubber Co., he worked on a research project to cure rubber tires using radio frequency.
Mr. Crumrine was preceded in death by his wife Evelyn on April 17, 1996, with whom he had celebrated 65 years of marriage; brother Robert Crumrine; and his granddaughter Suzanne C. Miller.
Survivors include his son Dick Crumrine of Wadsworth; daughter Nancy C. (R. Talbott) Miller of Lothian, Md.; grandchildren Travis and Brenton Crumrine, R. Talbott Miller, Jr. and Elizabeth Bishop; and four great grandchildren.
A graveside ceremony was held at Woodlawn Cemetery on Saturday, October 28. A memorial service will be held at a later date in the Trinity United Church of Christ, Wadsworth.
