Howard G Aldrich, 82 of East Toledo, passed away Sunday, April 15, 200 1, at Hospice of Northwest OH, Perrysburg. Howard was a Waite High Scho ol 1936 graduate where he was the class treasurer. He was a WW II veter an serving in the Army. Howard was a cost accountant for Art Iron for 23 y ears, retiring in 1973. He was a member of First St. John Lutheran Chur ch and a member of the East Toledo Club where he was past president and bo ard member. Howard was active in Cub Pack 45 at Raymer School while his so ns attended school and for years after. He was preceded in death by his wife of 49 years, Joanne. Howard is surviv ed by his sons, David of Detroit MI and Kirk (Robyn) of Genoa OH; his gr andchildren, whom he was known to by as "Papa", Lindsey, Kerry and Alex is Aldrich. He is also survived by his sister, Kathryn Forrest, and his sp ecial niece, Kathleen (Paul) Sigg. Friends may call at the Eggleston Meinert Funeral Home, Coy Rd Chapel, 4 40 S Coy Rd at Starr Ave., Oregon OH, on Tuesday from 2-9 p.m. where fune ral services will be held Wednesday at 10 a.m. Interment will follow in Re stlawn Memorial Park.
