Living Owatonna, Minnesota at 1880 & 1900 census, where he is living on North Grove Street. 1850 census lists his place of birth as Pennsylvania. In 1910, he and his wife are perhaps separated. He is boarding in Hennepin, MN and listed as single. She is living with her daughter Minnie in Owatonna and listed as married. By 1920, they are living together again in Owatonna. Civil War Service: Enlisted as a Private on 13 August 1862 Enlisted in Company K, 23rd Infantry Regiment Wisconsin on 13 August 1862. Mustered out Company K, 23rd Infantry Regiment Wisconsin on 04 July 1865 in Mobile, AL "Owatonna- Home Wardwell, a Blacksmith of this place, has instituted a suit against the Chicago, Milwaukee and St. Paul Railway company for damages.
