Sterling and Douglas Frederick Bickers, Cynthiana and nieces and nephews. He served in the U.S. Army during WWII and was a graduate of Morehead State. Homer's career included Head basketball and football coach at Frankfort High School; Owensboro Catholic High School and Lexington Jr. High School. Homer retired from WKYT-TV as an award winning Account Executive. Service Sat., Noon Mary Queen of the Holy Rosary Catholic Church conducted by Rev. John Moriarty. Visitation W.R. Bickers, 600 Vincent Way, Lexington, survived by his wife of 51 years, Evelyn Bickers; two children, Toni and husband David Graham of Lexington and Patrick and wife Susan of Atlanta; six grandchildren, Leslie McKinney, Christopher McKinney, Jennifer Bickers, Ashley Bickers, Elizabeth Bickers and Anna Bickers; two brothers and a sister, Mary Jo (Lou) Barrickman of Carrolton, Gilbert (Edna) Bickers of Mount Sterling and Douglas Frederick Bickers of Cynthiana; and nieces and nephews.

    He served in the U.S. Army during World War II and was a graduate of Morehead State. Homer's career included head basketball and football coach at Frankfort High School, Owensboro Catholic High School and Lexington Junior High School. Homer retired from WKYT-TV as an award-winning account executive.

    Services are at noon EST Saturday at Mary Queen of the Holy Rosary Catholic Church in Lexington, conducted by the Rev. John Moriarity. Visitation is from 5 to 8 p.m. today at W.R. Milward Mortuary Southland, and prayer services are at 7 p.m. Burial will be in Calvary Cemetery. Casketbearers will be Gilbert Lee Bickers, Matt Douglas Bickers, Larry James Stewart, Harry Lee Waterfield II, Bruce Brooks and Louis Tandy.
