Hiram Oscar Kifer, 68, died Monday in Veterans Administration Hospital, Pittsburgh following a lingering illness. The son of the late George M. and Elizabeth Rose Kifer, was a veteran of World War I. Surviving are two brothers, Robert P. and Jeremiah C., both of Penn: a sister, Mrs. Ada Kifer Kemerer, St. Petersburg, Fla. Friends will be received 2– 5, 7 – 10 beginning this evening at Sherman W. Mason funeral home, Jeannette. Services will be held there Thursday afternoon at 1:30 with Rev. Earl Runge, pastor of Penn Lutheran Church officiating. Interment will be in Brush Creek Cemetery.
