286. HIRAM HANSBROUGH: (238 Elijah) He was married (1st) to Almora V. Utz, and (2nd) to Mrs. Ann S. Gorgas. Hiram was a prominent lawyer of Botetourt, and was involved in a number of law suits. A record exists of two sons, probably by his first wife.

Children (HANSBROUGH) 344. James Elijah - attended the Virginia Military Institute, but did not graduate. NFI. 345. William Milton - attended the Virginia Military Institute, but did not graduate. He died of typhoid fever September 1, 1871, at the age of 17. NFI.
