BLOOMDALE -- Hilbert C "Bert" Bihn, 101, a resident of Fox Run Manor, Find lay, and formerly of Bloomdale, died at 10:45 a.m. Saturday, Nov. 15, 20 03 at Blanchard Valley Regional Health Center, Findlay. He was born March 9, 1902 in Fremont MI., to Edward Joseph and Viola (Bed man) Bihn. Bert married Ethel I Croff and she preceded him in death. He la ter married Frances A Main and she also is deceased. Surviving are two daughters, Mrs. Kenneth W (Nancy J) Knitz, Pandora; a nd I Jeannette Hovey, Hart MI.; and numerous grandchildren, great-grandch ildren and great-great-grandchildren. Preceding Bert in death are his parents; two sons, Edward Joseph and Harl ey Alton Bihn; five brothers and three sisters. Mr. Bihn retired in 1970 after 17 years of service as a custodian at Bowli ng Green State University. Funeral services will be held at 11 a.m. Tuesday at COLDREN-CRATES FUNER AL HOME, Findlay, the Rev. Mark S Hollinger officiating. Burial wi ll be in Wood CO Memory Gardens, Bowling Green. Visitation will held from 2-4 and 6-8 p.m. today at the funeral home. Memorials may be made to the Bloomdale Fire Department.
