Hey Bill, I was looking through your site yesterday and noticed you have my Aunt Lou and my Dad born in Millerton, NY. I just wanted to let you know that Aunt Lou was born in West Warren, Ma and Dad was born in Scitico (Enfield), Ct. There is a story behind them (Grandma and Grandpa) marrying in NY. See my Grandpa being married before (divorced), drove a motorcyle, and was much older then my Grandmother....well as any good parent my Great Grandmother Lydia Hensel (Grandma's Mom) was in no why giving consent for this marriage. So Grandma and Grandpa eloped to NY. At that time if you were under the age of 21 in CT you had to have your parents sign, but in NY you didn't need there signature. Hope ya have a great day.
