Hilda A. Twigg (Mount Savage)

MOUNT SAVAGE - Hilda Agnes Twigg, 89, of Mount Savage, went to be with her Lord on Wednesday, Aug. 30, 2006, at the Cumberland Villa Nursing Center.

Born Nov. 12, 1916, in Morantown, she was the daughter of the late John Lewis Beal and Laura Rebecca (Albright) Beal. Mrs. Twigg was also preceded in death by her husband, Joseph Twigg; a daughter, JoAnn Broadwater; six sisters, Minnie Lemmert, Margaret Murray, Kathleen Kirby, Ida Often-Keel, Clara Kennell and Elizabeth Blank; and six brothers, Albert Beal, Louis Beal, George Beal, James Beal, Benny Beal and Bill Livingood. Mrs. Twigg was the last surviving member of her immediate family.

A homemaker and a loving matriarch, Hilda was a member of the Central Assembly of God Church where she was a dedicated Sunday school teacher for 50 years. She spent many hours reading and studying her Bible.
