    Obituary - Jed Monette
    Jed Monette, 65, of 259 Central street, died yesterday at the Springfield hospital. He was born in Champlain, N.Y., and lived in this city many years. He was a barber by trade. He was a member of St Joseph's church and the Barbers' union. Besides his widow, Belle (Yelle) Monette, he leaves two sons, Joseph and Emile, both of Springfield; three daughters, Mrs. Clara Noble of Springfield, Mrs. Lila Brockney of San Francisco and Miss Delia Monette of Springfield; two brothers, Elie of this city and Nelson of Ludlow, and three sisters, Mrs. Louise Trombley of Lowell, Mrs. Delia Hall of Boston and Mrs. Elmira Goudreau of this city. The funeral will be held at Byron's funeral home, 684 State street, Friday morning, followed by high mass of reqiuem at St Joseph's church. The burial will be in St Michael's cemetery.
