    Hermina “Minnie” Nymeyer, age 95, of Lynden, died Tuesday, Oct. 31, 2006 at the Christian Health Care Center. Born Dec. 17, 1910 in Lynden to Jacob and Grace (Kok) Haveman, she attended Lynden and Ebenezer Christian Schools through the fourth grade. On Jan. 22, 1931, she married Ralph Nymeyer in Lynden and in 1942 they began ministering in the Assemblies of God church throughout the United States. In 1973, Minnie and Ralph returned to Lynden where she was a member of the Lynden Senior Center. Her hobbies included making quilt tops for the Light House Mission Auxiliary and bibs for the Christian Rest Home Auxiliary for many years.
    Preceded in death by her husband, Ralph, in May of 1990; two brothers and six sisters; she is survived by her sister, Rena Heeringa and numerous nieces and nephews.
    Visitation hours will be Friday, Nov. 3, 9:00 to 11:30 am at Gillies Funeral Home with burial to follow in Monumenta Cemetery at 12:00 noon and a 1:00 pm memorial service at Whatcom New Life Assembly of God Church, 2290 Main St., in Ferndale.
