    Herman A. Ginder, 85 years, of Macungie, formerly of Allentown, passed away Friday, February 8, 2013, at Lehigh Valley Hospital, Inpatient Hospice Unit in Allentown. He was the widower of Jane F. (Roessler) Ginder. Born in Allentown, he was the son of the late Arthur and Esther (Bowman) Ginder.He was a carpenter all of his life and worked for Butz Construction Co. for many years where he was a Foreman. Herman was a member of the Carpenter Union #600. He honorably served his country in the United States Marine Corp. during WWII. Herman then went on to the Naval Academy from 1947 to 1950. Survivors: Daughter-in-law, Debra K. (Trumbauer) Ginder of New Smithville; brother, Mark of Ijamsville, MD; grandchildren, Jason A. of Avon, NC, Stephanie A. of Fredericksburg, VA and Kyle J. of New Smithville; nieces and nephews.
