Daily Times-News, The Monday, February 11, 1974 MEBANE Herman Wilber "Brownie" Dandridge, 54, of 407 Lee St.. died at his home at p.m. Sunday following a lengthy illness. A native of Orange County, he was the son of the late Harvey and Cordie Campbell DANDRIDGE. and the husband of Mrs.. MILDRED SYKES Dandridge. who survives. He was an employee of White Furniture Co., a member of Eastside Baptist Church, former deacon. Sunday School teacher and treasurer of the church for many years. In addition to his wife, he is survived by his daughter. Mrs.. Verna LaRue Jackson, Charlotte: sisters. Mrs.. Ruth Nordan and Mrs.. Hazel Hilton, both of Hillsborough. Final rites will be 4 p.m. Wednesday at Eastside Baptist Church. The Rev. Luther King, pastor, will officiate. Burial will be in Oakwood Cemetery. The body will remain at the Williams and Johnson Funeral Home until taken to the church one hour prior to the service. The family will be at the funeral home Tuesday from 7 to 9 p.m.
