Herbert M. TURNER, 97, of Hillsboro, died Friday morning, February 8, 2002 at the Laurels of Hillsboro. He was born 28 January 1905 in Chicago, IL, the son of the late Enos Herbert and Grace (RAU) TURNER. He was a retired industrial engineer with the Swift Meat Packing Company. He was a member of the Highland County Senior Citizens. He is survived by his wife Evelyn (Wilkin) TURNER, two sons and a daughter-in-law, John D. and Beth TURNER of Columbus, and William D. TURNER of Racine, Wi, nine grandchildren and six great grandchildren. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his first wife, Polly (Duval) TURNER and his second wife, Wilma "Billie" (Yochum) TURNER and a brother J. Donald TURNER. Services held at Turner & Son Funeral Home in Hillisboro. Cremation followed.
