Person:Herbert Kenyon (1)

Herbert R. (Robert) Kenyon was a physician and a past president of the New York chapter of the American Urological Society. He was a member of the staff of Lennox Hill Hospital located on the Upper East Side in Manhattan, New York City.

In 1950, Dr. Kenyon wrote "The Prostate Gland" , a 194 page book published by Random House, New York. The book was designed to provide non-technical information to laymen.

Private funeral services were held in California. He was survived by his wife, Elizabeth Meinhard Kenyon; his son, H. Robert Kenyon, Jr. and his daughter, Barbara K. Sterne. He was also survived by five grandchildren.
