I have been doing genealogy since 1981. My main interest is German-Jewish genealogy and American-Jewish genealogy. I use Roots Magic genealogy software. I make an effort to document my findings and to list all my sources.

I live in northwestern Ohio. I check my email several times a day. I am new to genealogical social networking or whatever this thing is called.

I have uploaded the Meinhard(t) family genealogy as a test. This is not my main family of interest.

I have also researched the family history of my step-children and several other families that do not have Jewish connections. I have several genealogy "buddies" with whom I exchange information.

I use RootsMagic genealogy software and subscribe to Family Tree Magazine.
