Herb S. Aldrich Herb S. Aldrich, age 45, of McComb, died Wednesday November 3, 2004 7:50 p .m. at his residence. He was born December 3,1958 in Bellevue OH to He rb E. and Patsy (Jennings) Aldrich and they survive in Clyde OH. He marri ed Cindy Caudill on December 16, 1978 in Toledo and she survives. There are 3 sons; Herbie, Rusty, and Dusty all of Findlay. Also survivi ng is a brother Mark (Cara) Aldrich of Lima; and 2 sisters Mrs. Denny (Jon i) Mussell of Clyde, and Vickie Aldrich also of Clyde. Also survivi ng is a sister-in-law Kim Goins of Murfreesboro TN, and brothers-in-law Mi ke, Dale, and Jim "Wally" Caudill all of Clyde OH. Herb was a 1977 graduate of Clyde High School. A 1981 graduate of OH Unive rsity. He received his Masters Degree in 1995 from Bowling Green State Uni versity. In 2000 he graduated from the University of Wisconsin Graduate Sc hool of Banking. Herb began his banking career at the First National Ba nk in Findlay. From there he went to Toledo to the Toledo Trust. He came b ack to Findlay to Society Bank. He then joined OH Bank in Findlay. In 19 98 he went to First Federal Bank until 2001. In 2001 he became a Credit Ma nager of the Southwest Region for Cooper Tire and Rubber Company. In 20 03 he returned to First Federal Bank as a Vice-President of Commercial Len ding where he served in this capacity until his death. Herb was a member of St. John's Lutheran Church in McComb where he serv ed on the church council. Currently Herb was serving as the President of t he McComb Local School Board of Education for the past 2 years. He was t he past President of the McComb Athletic Boosters Association. He was a me mber of the Findlay Kiwanis Club. He was a member of B.P.O.E. # 75 in Find lay. Herb was a Social Member of the McComb VFW. He was a member of the Bl ack Swamp Council of B.S.A. Herb was member of the Findlay Country Club. H erb was fond of athletics he coached pee-wee baseball, jr. pony league bas eball, traveling league baseball teams and Midget Football teams in McCom b. Herb was also the Voice of The McComb Panthers. He announced the Footba ll and Basketball games for the Panthers for the last few years. He was ve ry proud of the accomplishments that his sons achieved during their athlet ic careers at McComb High School. Visitation will be held on Saturday, November 6, 2004 from 12 noon unt il 9 p.m. at HARTLEY FUNERAL HOME in McComb. The funeral service will be h eld on Sunday, November 7, 2004 at 2 p.m. at the funeral home, with the Re v. Linda Zaye officiating. Burial will be in McComb Union Cemetery.
