Obituary: Henry Erskine Tullis of East Ridge died Tuesday, May 16, 2000, in a local hospital. He was 82. A native of Chavies, Ala., he had been a resident of the Chattanooga area for 60 years and was retired from Crane/Rockwell with 38 years of service. He was a 54-year member of East Ridge Baptist Church.

Survivors include his wife, Bethel Shelton Tullis; daughter, Gayle Robinson, Nashville; two sons, Lee Tullis, East Ridge, and Kyle Tullis, Nashville; sister, Viona Mason, Tuscaloosa, Ala.; eight grandchildren and four great-grandchildren; nieces and nephews.

The funeral will be today at 2 p.m. at the South Crest Chapel of Lane Funeral Home with Dr. Ronnie Mitchell and the Rev. Ron Perry officiating.

Burial will be in Lakewood Memory Gardens, South.

Visitation will be today from 11 a.m. until the time of service at the funeral home.
