- 8 Jan 1725 - Will of Henry Trent To son Henry, all my lands if he lives to 21, and if he dies, to my eldest daughter Edith Trent, if she will pay to my youngest daughter Mary Trent 6,000 lbs tobacco.
- Wife Edith to be guardian to my children and to have use of my lands and negroes.
- The latter are to be divided among my three children when my son Henry is 21.
- My loving mother Elizabeth Gee to be paid one barrel of Indian corn per year.
- Wife Edith to be executrix.

- 2b) 1720, 4 Apr: Henry TRENT, brother of Alexander, presented a paper containing a division of Alexander TRENT's land into three parts and an assignment of one part to Thomas TURPIN for his wife's dower, TURPIN's wife being Alexander's widow Obedience. The court, having heard TURPIN's argements against the division, orders it to be recorded.
