Will of Henry Shelley

June 3rd 1881 I Henry Shelly of the County of Clinton and State of Kentucky Farmer being of Sound mind memory and understanding do make and publish my last will and Testament Revoking all wills by me at any time heretofore made and I first direct my body be Decently Burried in the cemetery with my 1st wife and at the Funeral be conducted in a manner corresponding with my estate and situate in life as to my estate I dispose of the Same as follow Item 1st I have given and bequeath to my beloved oldest daughter Larisa Beckett wife of Albert Beckett the sum of $400.00 in cash and property I have Given and bequeath to my Beloved Son William E. Shelley $400.00 worth of land I have given and bequeathed to my beloved Daughter Lany Abston wife of William Abston the Sum of $400.00 in land and other property I have given and Bequeathed to my Beloved Daughter Jane C. Teel wife of Thomas Teel the Sum of $400.00 in land and property I have given and Bequeath to my son Samuel Shelly the Sum of $400.00 in land and property I have Given and Bequeath to my son Samuel Shelly the Sum of $400.00 in land and property I have given and bequeathed to my son S. P. Shelly the Sum of $400.00 in land and property All the Rest Residue and Remainder of my personal estate of whatsoever kind it may be after paying my Debts legacies and Funeral expenses I Give and bequeath to my beloved wife Eliza J. Shelly to her use and benefit personally as long as she remains my widow or until her death at her Death or marriage I give the Bequest to my Beloved Son George H. Shelly and if they should both die without issue then I Give their Bequest to be divided equally between my other children I hereby constitute and appoint my Son Samuel Shelly Sole executor of this my last will and testament in witness whereof I Henry Shelly the testator have to this my will set my hand and seal this the 3rd day of June 1881 Henry Shelly Seal
