    Bio: Alvin "Al" Meyer, 76, of Paris, Arkansas died Saturday, October 4, 2008 in Ft. Smith. Al was a retired Civil Engineer, worked in the oil and gas industry as a landman, and was a real estate agent. He grew up in Missouri and served in the military. He moved to Paris in the early 1960's. Al was known for his love of flying and was a private pilot.

    He was preceded in death by his parents, Alvin Frederick Meyer and Elizabeth Janet (Schilstra) Meyer.

    He is survived by his wife; two sons; two brothers; 7 grandchildren; and, 2 great-grandchildren.

    A memorial service was conducted Tuesday, October 7, 2008 at Roller Funeral Home Chapel in Paris, Arkansas.

    PARIS - Henry Etta Meyer, 80, of Paris died Saturday, Dec. 7, 2013, in Charleston. She was born Jan. 23, 1933, in Booneville. She retired as a secretary for the Cooperative Extension Office and was a member of First Baptist Church and the Business and Professional Women's Club. She was the widow of Alvin Meyer.
    Graveside service will be 2 p.m. Thursday at Carolan Cemetery in Booneville under the direction of Roller Funeral Home in Paris.
    She is survived by a son, John Meyer of Katy, Texas; seven grandchildren; and four great-grandchildren.
    Visitation will be 6-8 p.m. Wednesday at the funeral home.
