    ... 8. Capt. Henry Pitt of Isle of Wight, m. Anne, widow of Robert Watson about 1655. He patented 450 acres on Pagan Creek 13 Jan., 1652, for the transportation of himself and 8 persons. He died about 1666 for in that year his widow Anne married Capt. James Powell. His son and heir according to a deed 27th Aug., 1666 was Thomas Pitt. Thomas Pitt, the son, married Mary, daughter of Col. Arthur Smith and died in 1688 leaving a will in which he mentions 7 children. (See will.) ...
