    In Henry's pension papers is a deposition he swore to, on 14 December 1898. Henry says the following:

    "My mother Esther Wright is living in Eckington Derbyshire England and I have not seen her since I was four years of age. My parents separated and my uncle kidnapped me when I was four years old and brought me to my father who brought me to America. I have only one sister who is here now but she came from England 16 years ago. My father married again and my half brothers and sisters were not big enough to know what my health was when I went into the army." Source Megan Isley
