Milton - Henry Hudson, son of D. T. Hudson, died at Elkhorn Thursday night after a brief illness. Deceased resided at Stoutlands, Missouri, and was here to visit his relatives. He had recently recovered from a serious illness and drove over to Elkhorn to visit his brother-in-law, Mr. Burhans. He was taken with pneumonia on his arrival there and lived but a few days. Henry grew up from boyhood here, but moved to Missouri some years ago, where he was engaged in farming and fruit growing. He was an honest, hard working man and a highly respected citizen both in his old and new home. He leaves a wife and daughter, the former being present at the funeral, and a large circle of relatives to mourn his unexpected death. The funeral took place at the Methodist church in this village Sunday morning and was largely attended by the former neighbors and friends of the deceased. The remains were buried in the village cemetery. Hon. John W. Hudson, of Madison, and Prof. L. B. Hudson, of Bloomington, Ill., brothers of the deceased, were present at the funeral.
