To Viscount Howick
My Lord, I have the honor to transmit the enclosed applications from Convicts resident in the Colony, requesting, that their Families may be sent from England. It having been stated that they possess the means for their support, and that they shall be no expence to the Government after they reach this Colony, the parties having also been distinctly informed that the arrival of their Families will not occasion the extension of indulgence until duly eligible by Regulation, and as the character of the Applicants is good, I beg to recommend thei solicitations to the favourable consideration of The Secretary of State. I have the honor to be, My Lord, You Lordship's, very obedient, humble servant, Geo Arthur
