Haislip Family Cemetery

Located just inside the woods @@ 1/4 mile west of the barn at 10612 Belmont Blvd., Lorton, Va. There are no headstones remaining on site, however two headstone bases and a number of fieldstone markers are present. There are at least 15 unmarked burials. The site is wooded and neglected, but clear of heavy brush. Several very large trees are located around the site.NOTE: Some years ago two marble gravestones bearing the surname HAISLIP were found in the Mason Neck area. They were placed in the graveyard at Pohick Episcopal Church. It is possible, but by no means certain, that they came from this cemetery. The inscriptions are given as #1 and #2 below.
