    His wife, Helen A. (MacAloney) Crowe, died September 10, 1990.

    Mr. Crowe was born in Groton, March 7, 1924, a son of Henry H. and Martha E. (Freeman) Crowe and was a lifelong resident of the Groton and Shirley areas.

    For over 30 years Mr. Crowe worked as a machine operator at the Hollingworth & Vose Company in West Groton. During WW II he served his country in the United States Army. He was an active member of the Shirley Senior Citizens and a former member of the Shirley Rod & Gun Club.

    He leaves two stepdaughters. Janice McCann and Joan Johnston both of New Smyrna Beach. Florida; a step son, Willard MacAloney of California; a grandson, Douglas McCann of Groton, Amanda Coe of Bennington, NH and Linda Goodroe of Weare, NH. He also leaves four great grandchildren.

    He was brother of the late Bertha Baker of Townsend. He was the stepfather of late Annie McLeod and James Permenter.
