Folks interested in this line should consult the book "The Boston Family of Maryland" by Professor Matthew Wise at Roanoke College. Henry, the immigrant ancestor, came to the new world as an indentured servant. He settled in Northampton County, VA in the early 1640s. Having worked off his indenture in 1645, he received 3 barrels of corn and clothing and was set free by Mr. Obedience Robbins. He received headrights to land in Northampton. He was reportedly a cooper and sometime burgess. On or about 1655 he took a wife Anne, who may have been the widow of Augustine Moore. Anne was still living 7 Jun 1671, but she died within two years. On 19 May 1673 in Somerset County, Henry married Elizabeth Rogerson. Henry moved from Northampton, VA to Somerset, MD, where he held public office and became an extensive landowner.@@S107@@
