    On 18 June 1927, Harry died tragically at Sanders, Carroll, Ky when he was working on a power pole and was Electrocuted by [an] electric transformer. A relative recalled Harry's badly burned body being brought from the scene and laid out on the porch of his Sparta home, just a few miles away. His whole body and clothing was blackened with burns and the electrical charge he received blew out the soles of his boots.
