In Andover, N. Y., April 18, 1891, of pneumonia, Henry, in the 73d year of his age.
The deceased was one of seven children, five sons and two daughters, - three brothers and one sister survive him. He was born in Brookfield, N. Y., and at the age of 20 his parents settled in Elm Valley, Alfred (now Ward), where he married one year later and has since lived, till six years ago he settled in the village of Andover. In early manhood he made a profession of religion and united with the Presbyterian Church. In 1865 he and his wife embraced the Sabbath and united with the First Seventh-day Baptist Church of Alfred; and six years ago they united with the Seventh-day Baptist Church of Andover, of which he has remained a worthy member till death. He leaves a good wife, five children, and numerous kindred and friends to mourn an irreparable loss, but in hope of a glorious reunion. 'Blessed are the dead that die in the Lord.'
