Henry Barb "had blue eyes, reddish brown hair, rosy complexion." Mary Winegardner Barb "was tall and slim; very delicate. Henry Barb's funeral was performed by the Rev. Johann Nicholas Schmucker. The service was attended by four or his children, the other
four having moved west within the preceding three years. Henry Barb's will was probated
13 Sept 1819 in Shenandoah Co. court. At the sale of his father's inventory on 24 Sept., Henry Barb Jr., bought two bibles (one in German script and one in English), and one hymn book. Lived Loudoun Co. (P.O. Leesburg) and Mill Creek, Shenandoah Co. (P.O. Woodstock).
