MRS. HENRIETTA SODEN - The funeral of Mrs. Henrietta Soden, widow of Robert R. Soden, who died Saturday, will be conducted tomorrow afternoon from the home of her daughter, Mrs. Gertie Beers, 355 Garfield Avenue. Services will be held at 2 o'clock in Trinity Methodist Church. The Rev. Charles H. Elder, the pastor, will officiate. Interment will be in Riverview Cemetery, under direction of Poulson & Coleman. Mrs. Soden was 73 years old. Death was due to infirmities of age, followed by a lingering illness. She was a member of Starry Flag Temple No. 6, O. U. A., and was for many years a member of Trinity Church.

Robert married Henrietta SHERMAN on 28 May 1862 in Monmouth County, New Jersey. His residence at that time was Freehold. Henrietta was born Oct 1843 in Ocean County, NJ. She was the daughter of John O. and Lydia Sherman. Henrietta spent many years living on Sweets Avenue in Trenton after Robert's death. Her son Ambrose, and her daughter Gertrude living with her until her death. Henrietta received pension money from Robert's veteran status. She died on 19 Aug 1916 (OBIT) at her daughter’s residence (Gertie Soden Beers) 355 Garfield Ave, Trenton NJ and was buried on 22 Aug 1916 in Riverview Cemetery, 494T, under direction of Poulson & Coleman #1B. Henrietta’s religion (Rev. Charles H. Elder, Pastor) was Methodist Episcopal in Trinity Methodist Episcopal Church, Trenton. She was 73 years old at the time of her death.
