In the 1860 US census, the Heman Seaver family resided in the 2nd Ward of Schenectady, Schenectady County, NY. The family included Heman Seaver (age 49, teamster, $150 in personal property, borrn MA), Philinda Seaver (age 52, born MA) and George O. Seaver (age 21, clerk, born MA) [FHL Microfilm 0,803,858, page 131, dwelling #494].

In the 1870 US census, the Heman Seaver family resided in Schenectady Ward 1, Schenectady, NY. The household included Heman Seaver (age 57, laborer, born MA), Felindia Seaver (age 62, keeping house, born MA), George Seaver (age 32, clerk in a store, $1,100 in real property, born MA) and Maria Seaver (age 36, keeping house, born NY).
