Dushane, 76, of The Portage, Ticonderoga, died Sunday, Aug. 18, 2002, at the Moses Ludington Nursing Home. She was born on Oct. 12, 1925, at Crown Point, N.Y., the daughter of Claude and Delia (Dudley) Whittemore. Helen is survived by her daughter, Linda Nadeau of Ticonderoga; her son, Howard Dushane of Crown Point; her sister, Joyce Barnaby of Livermore Falls, Maine; her grandchildren, Dwane Dushane, David Dushane, Dean Dushane, Shallon Nadeau and Erin Dedrick.; and six great - grand- children. Calling hours will be held Tuesday, Aug. 20, 2002, from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. at the Harland Funeral Home, Port Henry. Funeral services will be held Wednesday, Aug. 21, 2002, at 10 a.m. at the First United Methodist Church, Wicker St. Ticonderoga. Rev. Paul L. Dufford, pastor, officiating. Burial will follow in the Ironville Cemetery, Crown Point. Memorial donations in Helen?s memory may be made to the First United Methodist Church, Wicker Street, Ticonderoga.
