Helen A Rutherford

Helen A Rutherford, 97, of St. Francis Health Care Centre, Green Springs d ied at 3:20 p.m. Wednesday, Dec. 3, 2003. She was born in Adams Twp on Mar ch 29, 1906 to the late Lee and Mercedes (Decker) Wadsworth. On Sept. 4, 1 929 she married Charles A Rutherford in Grace Lutheran Church, Fremon t, he died Jan. 18, 1993.

Surviving include: a son, Leland (Ethel) Rutherford of Elmore; two daughte rs, Mrs. Duane (Mercedes) Fruth of Bascom, and Mrs. Larry (Carol) Balla rd of Bowling Green. Preceded in death was a brother, Howard Wadsworth.

Mrs. Rutherford was a caregiver, farmer's wife and homemaker. A memb er of Green Springs United Methodist Church and Charter member of Green Sp rings Farm Womens Club. She was a graduate of Green Springs High School, C lass of 1925.

Services at 11:00 a.m. Saturday, Dec. 6, 2003 in Green Springs United Meth odist Church with Pastor Rick Burkhardt officiating. Burial at Green Sprin gs Cemetery.

Visitation hours are from 4-8 p.m., tonight, at the Engle-Young Funeral Ho me of Green Springs.

Memorials may be made to St. Francis Health Care Centre.
