    Helen Swinton is the daughter of Robert Swinton of that Ilk and Jean Hepburn.1,2 She married John Hepburn of Smeaton Hepburn, son of Patrick Hepburn of Smeaton Hepburn and Marion Adamson, in 1626.1
    From 1626, her married name became Hepburn.
