BURLINGTON — Mrs.. Helen Shoffner Moore, 95, of Alamance Health Care Center, 1987 Hilton Drive, died at 7 p.m., Wednesday, Aug. 16, 2000, at the center. A native of Alamance County, she was the wife of the late Mr. Dana Trescott Moore, M.D., and the daughter of Mr. William Alfred Shoffner and Mrs.. Willie Jane Bethea Shoffner, both deceased. She was a member of the Episcopal Church of the Holy Comforter. She was a member of the Daughters of the American Revolution and the former State President of the West Virginia Medical Auxiliary. Survivors include two sons, Mr. Dana Trescott Moore II of Snow Camp and Mr. William Shoffner Moore of Moran, Texas; five grandchildren; and eight great-grandchildren. The funeral will be conducted at 2 p.m. Saturday at the Episcopal Church of the Holy Comforter by the Rev. David Williams, pastor. Burial will be in Pine Hill Cemetery. The body will remain at the Rich and Thompson Mortuary in Burlington until placed in the church for the service. Memorials may be made to the Elon Homes for Children, P.O.
