From an obituary received from Lois Price: Mulberry, October 3, 1957. Mrs. Helen Cavanaugh died at 4 o'clock this morning at her home in Mulberry. Probably the oldest resident of Mulberry, Mrs. Cavanaugh was born October 14, 1864 in Armadale, Scotland, and came to America as a small child. The family lived for a time in Pittsburg and then moved to Mulberry in 1916. Survivors include one son, Frank Cavanaugh of the home; four daughters, Mrs. Alfred Hammerton, 719 West Seventh, Pittsburg, Mrs. Thomas Downer, Fairfield, California, Mrs. Fern Johnson, Detroit, Michigan, and Miss Josephine Cavanaugh of the home; thirteen grandchildren, and one brother, Henry Robertson, of Denver, Colorado.
