Helen Rizer RIDGELEY, W.Va. - Helen (Little) Rizer, 74, of Ridgeley, died Wednesday, Oct. 13, 2004, at her residence. Born July 26 1930, in Cumberland, Md., she was the daughter of the late Herman and Mary (Pollock) Little. She was also preceded in death by her husband, Roy A. Rizer Sr.; one sister, Erma Mawhinney; and two brothers. Mrs. Rizer was a homemaker and was Protestant by faith.
Surviving are one daughter, Lorrinda K. Rizer with whom she resided; four sons, Roy A. Rizer Jr. and wife Brenda, Fort Ashby, Craig D. Rizer and wife Janet, Ridgeley, Ronald L. Rizer at home, and Randal L. Rizer and wife Victoria, Front Royal, Va.; three sisters, Bert Wills and husband Francis, Martha Hansrote, and Sandra Willison and husband Steve, all of Cumberland; one brother, John Little and wife Jean, Bel Air, Cumberland; five grandchildren, Roy Rizer III, Ashley Rizer, Craig Rizer Jr., James D. Rizer and Catherine Rizer. Friends will be received at the Scarpelli Funeral Home in Cumberland. Funeral services will be conducted on Saturday at 11 a.m. with the Rev. Samuel L. Seletyn officiating. Interment will be in Fort Ashby Cemetery.
