MARRIAGE: RESIDENCE: Married to either Jeffries of Des Moines, IA or R. B. Bowen of Houston. KANE George V. Kane, Sr., aged 68, died Tuesday morning at 5:30 o'clock at his home, 4019 La Branch St., as the result of an apoplectic seizure Sunday night. The body will be forwarded tonight by Wall & Stabe to Honey Grove, his former home. Mr. Kane was born Oct. 3, 1850, in Pontiac, MI, and for many years was in the hardware business at Abilene. He moved to Houston 10 years ago, engaging in the oil business. He is survived by his wife, one son, George V. Kane, Jr., and 4 daughters, Mrs. L. B. Jeffries of Des Moines, IA; Mrs. R. B.
