GRAHAM — Mrs.. Helen Holt Sharpe, 78, of 3757 Thompson Mill Road, died Thursday, Aug. 2, 2001, in Greensboro.

A native of Alamance County, she was the wife of the late Marvin Holt Sharpe, and the daughter of Currie C. Holt and Lula Thompson Holt, both deceased. She was a homemaker. She was a member of Mt. Hermon United Methodist Church where she served as president of the United Methodist Women.

Survivors include two daughters, Mrs.. Wes (Cathy) Ellinburg of Burlington and Mrs.. Kim (Patricia A.) Bendigo of Greensboro; a son and daughter-in-law, Keith and Shirley B. Sharpe of Graham; a son, Mr. Scott Ryan Sharpe of Boston; two brothers, Mr. Jerry Cecil Holt of Greensboro, Md., and Mr. Currie Lynwood Holt of Clarksville, Va.; and three grandchildren.

The funeral will be conducted at 3 p.m. Sunday at Mt. Hermon United Methodist Church by the Rev. Rick Moser, pastor. Burial will be in the church cemetery.

The family will receive friends at Mt. Hermon Church Sunday afternoon after the services, and at other times, at the home of her son, Shirley and Keith Sharpe, 3930-L Thompson Mill Road in Graham.
